Endowment Survey

The endowment survey is designed to collect general information about college and university endowment investment practices across the United States and Canada. The response to the endowment survey provides information related to the Endowment Transparency, Investment Priories, and Shareholder Engagement categories of the College Sustainability Report Card.

Survey Instructions

One endowment survey for the College Sustainability Report Card 2011 is to be completed for each college/university. The original recipient of the endowment survey at each school received a unique username and password to access the survey for his/her particular school.

Our new web-based surveys can be saved while in progress. To save, scroll to the bottom of the survey window and click "save and continue." Once you have saved your progress, you may close your browser and return to the survey at any time. Respondents may return to their survey responses and make edits, even once the survey is complete.

Responses to the same survey can be offered by all those given the username and password. We have designated a main contact person for each survey, however, the contact person may share the username and password with other members of the campus community who need to fill out particular questions on the survey.

It may be useful to review the data needed by viewing the survey in PDF form prior to filling in the online submission form.

All final submissions should be completed through this website. Due to publication deadlines, we would appreciate receiving completed surveys no later than July 21, 2010.
