With the publication of the College Sustainability Report Card 2010, more than 1,100 school survey responses from over 300 institutions are now available online. In total, these surveys offer more than 10,000 pages of data collected from colleges and universities during the summer of 2009. STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
1) Please describe the student-run campus environmental/sustainability organization in which you have a leadership role.
Name of organization: ECO (Environmental Consciousness Outreach)
Number of active members: 15-20 (plus 100s more on the listserve)

Date of last meeting: end of April, maybe first week of May
Frequency of meetings: weekly, plus officer meetings weekly
Key issues addressed and programs implemented since August 2008: Collaboration with Mass Powershift, making Earthfest more fun and including more of the school, securing donations and promoting only green businesses, sent a large delegation to National Powershift in February

2) Does your group organize any sustainability challenges/competitions for your campus and/or with other colleges?

#1 - Name of competition: Do It In The Dark
Year initiated: no idea, running for at least two years
Frequency of competition: every october
Participants: whole school (but mostly underclassmen living on campus)
Incentives: win a pizza party for the entire dorm 
Goal of competition: reduce energy consumption for a month using our friendly tips for living green
Percent of energy/water/waste reduced: unknown, if necessary I can attempt to contact those who would know
Lasting effects of competition: students learn small ways to reduce energy, how easy it is to turn the lights off in certain key areas

OTHER ACTIVITIES
4) Please describe any additional campus sustainability activities or projects that you or your group has initiated at your school:  
attempted to reduce usage of plastic bags at to-go eateries on campus (initiative died, not sure why, i believe due to unresponsive administration
attempted to place dry erase plexiglass boards on campus walls most frequently littered by flyers.  initiative died because the leader went abroad. 
held an event around michael pollen speaking and educated dining hall patrons on fair trade food, and the perks of vegetarianism

We are planning a collaboration next semester with
Tufts Energy Forum
Climate Solutions Coalition
I can't think of any other sustainability groups.
