Key issues addressed and programs implemented since August 2008:In its first year of operation, the Sustainable Hopkins Infrastructure Program brought together students, faculty, and university administrators to execute numerous projects which meet a 7 year payback and reduce the environmental impact of the university.
Progress made on each issue/program since August 2008:Projects approved in the 08-09 academic year include high efficiency hand dryers, ultra low flow urinals, low flow toilets, faucet aerators, and occupancy detectors for lighting systems.
