(a) We do not have the ability to vote proxies as the entire equity holdings of the endowment are invested in mutual funds (e.g. CommonFund, Fidelity, Vanguard, etc.).
(b) We ask that our investment managers handle the details of proxy voting.

Your answer :
A, B – Many of our external managers have strategies which can and will invest in renewable or alternative energy projects/companies.  Certain managers will also directly or indirectly invest in community development financial institutions or development loan funds.

A, B – While we do not currently have a dedicated allocation to these investment areas we frequently evaluate opportunities that include investments in these areas.

Your answer :
We have several external managers with portions of their portfolios dedicated to companies in renewable and clean fuel (wind, waste, solar, bio fuels, low-carbon fuels, etc .) and end-use efficiency.
